Kobe VII Elite Black/Metallic Gold
The much-awaited top of the line Kobe sneaker is set to drop soon and we have clear pictures.

The Nike Kobe VII Elite will feature the same midsole as the regular Kobe VII has a few tweaks here and there. A carbon fiber heel cup is seen replacing the regular plastic one, it remains a mystery though if it will actually be carbon fiber or just a sticker just like the Zoom Kobe I. The upper is completely overhauled too creating a snake like pattern similar to the Kobe VI. It looks like it would be really tough and an upgrade in terms of durability. This is a weird move because the upper on the Kobe VII System absolutely has no problems in that department, the midsole on the other hand presents a lot of issues and I hope they worked on that aspect. Regarding performance, the main difference would be the presence of a full length Zoom Air bag on the shoe rather than the typical Play Fast and Play Strong set up. A smokey outsole is seen on the triangular traction pattern area and adds a bit more style on this already awesome looking sneaker. Finishing off this colorway are the metallic gold hits on the Swoosh branding and the shozoku logo on the tongue. What do you think about this release?
