I apologize for the lack of posts since I tried to enjoy my Holiday to the fullest because I know 2013 will be stacked. Anyhoo, here's the full review on the Adidas Rose 3.

Check out the FULL REVIEW below!

Materials and Ventilation: 4/5

This shouldn't come as a shock anymore since Adidas has been steadily releasing quality products the past couple years. This time I think they nailed it with the faux leather type synthetic that feels like actual leather but performs like a fuse material. It's cool because after playing in them, they show very little signs of wear and creasing if at all. It also does a good job in retaining its shape and giving that constant support for your feet. Ventilation is an aspect Adidas has mastered through its SprintWeb upper. On the Rose 3, they've used  a new type of construction where the web is seen through little holes that are scattered throughout the entire upper. These are super breathable and you should not have any problem. Moisture will build up a bit on the forefoot but that's normal, overall they work REALLY well. Check out the heel area padding as well. The Geofit material on the ankle is very plush and bouncy while the entire area is covered in this lush fabric. Everything feels generous and soft that you don't have to think about it really. This is good for longer games and extended practice sessions. My only complaint was that the break-in time was around 1-2 games. The upper has a hotspot near your big toe but, like I said on the FB page, it was pure butter after that.

Cushioning: 4/5

The molded injected EVA midsole again works wonders. The cushioning is a bit firmer than the Crazy Light 2 and it seems to make you glide with every step. In other words, transition is great with this cushion. The bounce you get is a stable kind of bounce which we can attribute to the SprintFrame doing its job containing your foot's movements. Landing from a rebound is a breeze and jump stops are effortless. I personally like the Crazy Light 2's cushioning better but that's just my personal preference. The Rose 3 is great and effective in its own right. Also, the addition of the EVA insole is a very nice touch. It integrates your foot to the cushioning rather well and it keeps you from feeling the SprintFrame directly. This extra layer of cushioning was definitely needed.

Support and Court Feel: 4.5/5

As you know the SprintFrame has been an Adidas performance staple with its effective setup and good feedback. If you try to twist you feet towards the medial side, you have all the flexibility in the world but when you twist it towards the lateral side, it's stable as hell. This only means that the SprintFrame isn't a gimmick and it does actually work. It gives you movement where you need it and lockdown where it's dangerous. Heel lockdown is nice as well, no heel slippage and you can really feel your feet sinking down the heel with the shoe wrapping around it. As for court feel, as usual, the forefoot is low to the ground while being well cushioned at the same time. The Kobe 8 has the same feeling with the Lunarlon insole so you can see the trend going towards foam cushioning. Heel to toe transition while running, like I said above, feels like you're gliding down the floor.

Traction: 4.5/5

Traction on this is absolutely crazy. If you've watched my video when I wear tested these (yeah, I know it's more of a dribbling for stupid people video), you would here that squeak the entire time. I wasn't really putting any effort on it but the traction came to life as soon as I gave it a go. It felt really good on feet to be honest knowing that the full length herringbone is doing its job. Traction is one of the pillars of support and stability so with these, you know what's up. Lateral movements, front to back, jump stops, everything you can give it, the Rose 3 will keep you planted.

Overall: 4.25

This is a great shoe for guards and quick forwards. The traction is superb and the cushioning once again is effective. If you're a player that likes to go full speed, the Rose 3 will definitely keep up with you if it doesn't outrun you.

Casually, they actually look really clean with jeans. To me this is the best looking DRose from Adidas yet. I think the biggest concern with Adidas sneakers is the rehashing of the three stripes on the sides. The designers did a great job in incorporating the needed technology with the aesthetics. Who would've thought Adidas could come out with a sneaker that has a retro feel like this in a sleek package? White shirt, Khaki shorts/pants and the Rose 3 and you're set. I suggest you check out the Nightmare colorway, pure awesomeness.

Go try them out now!
