Nike Kobe VIII System DETAILED LOOK!! Mesh / Lunarlon / Kobe Code
The Kobe VII System had a successful ad campaign but people didn't really like it that much. Comfort issues and performance mishaps threw a lot of people off but the beautiful design did convert new heads to the Kobe line. Right now, all we ask really is a good performing shoe that actually holds up over time and will not crack or have ridiculous amounts of paint chips after a couple of wears. I guess what I'm saying is, a lot is riding on the Kobe VIII and it's performance to finally revive the Kobe line and put it ahead once again. We have a ton of pictures below showing the upcoming shoe in great detail. You'll see the amazing engineered mesh and how breathable it is. What's making me giddy about this shoe however is the use of Lunarlon technology as an insert. Yes it was used last year on the Kobe 7 but it really didn't perform to it's epic potential. You gotta wonder what other inserts that have in store, full length Zoom Air? targeted Zoom Air? Articulated Zoom Air? Encapsulated Air (Jordan style)? There are a lot of options and we're sure Eric Avar and his team made the right decisions this time. We're just glad they removed the pesky high cut tactile cuff. ENGINEERED MESH. Who's curious to try them on for ball?
