This year Adidas has followed last year's format of releasing 2 models within a basketball season for their signature athlete. The reason behind this is that they can make the improvements within the season helping the athlete perform better.

The "Playoff" colorway of the Adizero Rose 2.5 features black SprintWeb and a grey and white midsole. Black speckles is seen on the grey part of the midsole giving it a White Cement Jordan IV look. Red is serves as minimal highlights on the Three Stripe SprintFrame heel and outline on the ankle geofit pads. Pebbled nubuck gives a play on textures on the heel vamp making this simple colorway subtly detailed. Lastly, the patent finished full grain leather makes up that clean toe box DRose loves.
