At just 11 ounces, this is the lightest signature shoe from Adidas for the reigning MVP yet. I features the same Crazy Light midsole/outsole for that squeaky traction and responsive low to the ground cushioning. The Sprintframe is used once again as well as the ultra light Sprintweb upper construction for both stability and lightweight construction. The three stripes on the heel is becoming a Derrick Rose signature detailing but I think they should move away from that in the future to keep other design opportunities available. This is also the first Derrick Rose signature to sport the MiCoach system from Adidas which is pretty much similar to the Nike+ system.
The most recognizable feature of the Adizero Rose 2.5 is that ankle pillow type padding on both sides of the upper. This aims to give a customized fit for any foot shape as well as provide comfort while keeping your foot in place. Is this the best looking DRose signature shoe to date?
