The newest lightweight offering from the Zoom Kobe line will be Nike's cash cow come December. First of all, look at that sleek, aggressive design. The midsole is reminiscent of the Zoom Kobe I with that exaggerated heel and forefoot outrigger. The upper is similar to the Zoom Kobe VI in terms of materials used but that's where the similarities end. The Kobe VI used the last layer to mimic snakeskin scales while the Kobe VII is using it to mimic a macro view of a snakeskin. I don't know if that makes any sense but you get the idea. The upper has continuous horizontal lines throughout the quarter all the way down the toes. Nike has placed a subtle design cue with that diamond pattern you'll see on different angles. This could be a nod both to the snakeskin pattern as well as Kobe's daughter Diamante.

Not much info has been given about the technology but we know for sure that it has Zoom Air and that the insole can be removed. The tongue is attached to the removable midsole creating a next generation bootie. this looks much more sturdy compared to the Air Jordan 2011 with the same custom cushioning idea.
