Aerial acrobatics, cross over dribbles, bounce passes, tear drops, you name it. After the exciting 2011 PBA Rookie Draft held last August, it was no surprise that Paul Lee got the 2nd pick! With the number one pick going to Gilas PILIPINAS standout JV Casio who just recently helped the team finish 4th in the FIBA Asia Championships. Paul Lee is the next vicious backcourt gunslinger to come from UE after James Yap, Paul Artadi and Ronald Tubid. Paul Lee’s all around skill set and dynamic athleticism made him the top two talent in the rookie draft.

He certainly didn't disappoint in his first outing, pouring in a game high 21 points and 8 assists; besting Ginebra vets JJ Helterbrand and Mark Caguioa who are two of the top guards in the league. Lee didn't look like a rookie at all. In fact, it didn't seem like it was his first professional game as he showed mental and physical toughness. We can only expect great things from him as he matures as a player and hone his skills further.
